Inklings are trendy cephalopods can transform from squid to kid…and back. (Whoa!) Octolings are the same deal, different species. This really helps out when they get together to play the hottest sport in the Splatlands, Turf War! They can splatter ink all over the place in Humanoid form, then change into Swim Form to zip through their own ink color.
