November 28 is Turkey Day in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game, available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. There are a few other things happening in the game in November, so you can keep reading to learn more!

On November 28, your entire island will be celebrating Turkey Day*! You can help Franklin gather ingredients for his scrumptious culinary creations and meet up with your residents for a second helping of holiday cheer. You can even spruce up your own dining table by cooking** a wide range of meals in the game—no matter what season it is. You can show off (and eat up) your favorite creations!

You can also take advantage of a special Nook Friday sale! From November 22 to November 30, items on sale at Nook’s Cranny will be marked down 30 percent. So if something in the shop catches your eye, it might be a great time to buy it using in-game Bells. Happy shopping!

There’s even more happening in November. Since the events depend on which hemisphere you’re in, we’ll take a look at both.

Northern hemisphere

You can catch maple leaves until November 25 and find mushrooms until November 30. You may also find some DIY recipes that use these items—if you pop some balloons, you may get lucky!

Southern hemisphere

You can continue to collect young spring bamboo until November 30.
