Newly added characters, new courses, and more are in store! Plus, you can aim for the bullseye in the new Target Golf mode—available for same-system, local wireless, and online play—in the latest free update for the Mario Golf: Super Rush game, available now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch family of systems.

Here is a list of newly added playable characters, courses, and more in Mario Golf: Super Rush. Please note: a software update is required to access the free DLC.

Additional modes

You can take turns hitting five shots at the target for the highest score in the new Target Golf mode. You may want to be ready though, as your ball may change to tricky items such as an Egg Ball, Amp Ball, Ice Ball, and more! There are also two new single-player modes within Solo Challenge, One-On, One-Putt and a solo version of Target Golf.

Additional playable characters

Wiggler can use Angry Strike to blast away golf balls on impact and Rumble Dash to run and knock opponents off balance. You may want to be careful not to hit Wiggler—its angry state gives it temporary stat boosts! Shy Guy can use Spin Strike to blast away golf balls on impact and Fly Guy Dash to fly in the air, knocking over anyone in the way.

New courses

Shelltop Sanctuary is a masterful course featuring all par 3 holes and two layouts: Amateur and Pro. All-Star Summit is a Mario-themed course featuring coins, clouds, blocks, and beyond!
