You can race on more courses and choose from more characters with the fifth wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass paid DLC* (downloadable content), available now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. The newly added Feather Cup and Cherry Cup bring courses like Tour Athens Dash, GCN Daisy Cruiser, and Wii Koopa Cape to the game. You can learn more below.

 

A total of 48 courses from throughout the Mario Kart series are racing to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game as paid DLC*. Courses include those based on real-world locations like Tour Athens Dash from the Mario Kart Tour game. Plus, you can enjoy nostalgic favorites like Wii Moonview Highway as well as the new Squeaky Clean Sprint course. Kamek, Petey Piranha, and Wiggler from past Mario Kart games join the race. These returning racers and ready and raring to hit the road!

 

Players who have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership** will have access to all of these newly added courses* as they are released at no additional cost. Non-members can access the courses as they are released by purchasing the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass on its own from Nintendo eShop. Content will release in 6 waves of 8 courses until the end of 2023.
