Whether you consider yourself a rookie or a pro, you can brush up different aspects of your golf game with these all-rounder tips for the Mario Golf: Super Rush game, only for the Nintendo Switch system.

How to go the distance in Standard Golf & Solo Challenge

In Standard Golf or Solo Challenge modes, the goal is to cover the distance to the hole with the fewest strokes possible. But hitting the ball with maximum power each time isn’t always the best strategy. Sometimes going for a shorter distance can save you one or two additional shots. For example, if you want to avoid landing your ball right under a tree, you can first try to read the wind and the terrain. Then you can decide whether to take one powerful shot or go a different way.

How to choose your next target in Battle Golf

Battle Golf mode cranks up the chaos with obstacles like Chain Chomps, Thwomps, and more. All holes are open at the start, but once a player sinks a ball in it, the hole is closed. You can try to get the jump on your opponents by deciding which hole to go for next. Other opponents might be after the same hole, so you can use the map in the upper-left corner of your screen to keep an eye on them.

How to restore your stamina in Speed Golf

In Speed Golf mode, the goal is to race through the course to sink your ball first. You can try to outpace and interrupt your opponents with dashes and Special Shots. But to do that, you’ll need to keep up your stamina! You can look for nearby hearts on the course to restore stamina if you’re running low. Don’t see any hearts? Maybe you should take a break from dashing, which depletes stamina over time.

How to level up to improve your golf stats

You can enroll your Mii character in golf training at a prestigious country club and go from rookie to pro in Golf Adventure mode. You can earn experience points through training, challenges, and tournaments, and level up to improve your character’s stats like power, movement, and spin. Things get weird when Wario shows up, but what else is new?

How to time Special Shots for maximum effect

Every character has their own super-powered Special Shot they can use to try and turn the tide of the match. These shots require energy, so it’s important to time your Special Shots carefully. You can use it as soon as your Energy Gauge is full, or you can try to hold off until other players have decreased their own Energy Gauges.
