There are plenty of Pokémon to be found in the Kanto region. There’s a lot to explore, too! You can interact with characters and your environment to see what fun in-game rewards you might receive.

Who’s in your party?

Before every battle, it’s important to choose which Pokémon you have in your party. Knowing which types are effective or weak against the Pokémon in your party may give you the advantage you need to come out victorious!

First, the battle!

You won’t be able to catch certain Legendary Pokémon the same way you catch most other Pokémon you encounter in the wild—they must be defeated in battle first, so be sure to prep a strong team. Once you defeat them, you’ll have the opportunity to catch them.

Sweet treats for your Pokémon

Professor Oak hopes to one day see a Pokédex completed. You can help him fulfill that dream by sending him Pokémon to assist in his research. In return, he’ll give you in-game Candies that can be used to make your Pokémon even stronger!

The City of Rainbow Dreams

Celadon City is known as the City of Rainbow Dreams, and it has loads of places to explore. You can visit the department store to get outfits, accessories, and more for both your Trainer and your partner Pokémon. Then, you can coordinate the two by making their outfits match!
