Here are a few helpful hints on what you can do before taking on a dungeon in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX game!

Storing valuables

Before taking on a dungeon, it might be a good idea to deposit your in-game Poké currency and items for safekeeping. If you’re in a dungeon and fail in your adventure, your Poké will go to 0—except for the Poké you deposited. You can also deposit items before heading out on an adventure and withdraw them later.

Stocking up on supplies

You can visit shops in Pokémon Square to stock up on helpful items like Berries, Applies, and some Max Elixirs before heading into a dungeon. This way, your rescue team will be well prepared for the dangers ahead!

Balancing your team

You can have up to three Pokémon in your rescue team. Since different Pokémon know different moves, it’s a good idea to think hard about who is right for the job. It can help to have a well-balanced team that’s ready to face the dangers of the dungeon!

Unlocking camps

Pokémon that join your rescue team need to stay at camps. You can visit Wigglytuff in Pokémon Square to recruit more Pokémon and unlock more camps! There are several kinds of camps, like the Mt. Green camp, the Rub-a-Dub River camp, the Power Plant camp, and more.

More Pokémon? Yes!

One final tip to know before heading into a dungeon: There are more Pokémon to rescue and encounter, even after making the Pokémon world a safer place to live!
