Did you know you can customize your Pokémon Trainer in the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games? Here are tips on how to find new clothes, get a new hairdo, and set out on your adventure in style!

Getting a new look at a hair salon

Choosing a lipstick color and haircut for a female Trainer, plus final salon style results for a female Trainer and a male Trainer.

As you travel, you’ll come across boutiques and hair salons. Salons let you choose your haircut and hair color, style your eyebrows, or even swap out your color contacts! You can spice up your adventure by changing your look to match your favorite outfit or the uniform you wear during your Gym Challenge.

Finding clothes at boutiques

Choosing a hoodie for a female Trainer on the clothes selection screen. Plus, eight examples of male and female Trainers in various clothing styles.

Boutiques are your go-to spots for trying on and buying new clothes. Boutiques have outerwear, tops, gloves—you name it! You can mix and match styles in any way you want. Boutiques in different towns and cities have different items for sale, so keep your eyes open for the perfect outfit while you travel.

Customizing your League Card

Three in-game screenshots. First, choosing a League Card frame. Second, choosing a pose. Third, Trainer Victor and Trainer Gloria’s League Cards are displayed during battle.

As a Pokémon Trainer, you have your own League Card to trade and give out across the region. You can use the Card Maker function of Rotomi to change the background, the frame, your expression, your pose, and more! You can trade League cards with other players, and League Cards are displayed during Link Battles, too. You’ll be able to check all the League Cards you’ve received from others in your album.
