Unlock capsules for special effects

Special items called capsules can have effects like boosting damage or freezing an enemy. If they show up on the shared lane, you can try to get them by linking the number of plates on the capsule to unlock it.

Are there hidden stages? (Hint: yes)

Each stage has three stars you can earn. To earn each star, you need to meet a special condition in that stage. If you earn enough stars in a world, you can unlock bonus stages!

What lovely plates you have!

You can throw stacks of plates at the enemy to deliver damage (after you’ve gobbled down all the sushi, of course). But did you know there are a total of nine plate colors? Each color plate serves a different quality of sushi and a different amount of damage.

The taller the stack, the harder the fall

If you can gobble up enough sushi within a seven-second time limit, you end up with a stack of sushi plates you can throw at your opponent. To hit your opponent with extra damage, create multiple tall stacks of plates and use them as ammunition.

Glowing plates links with anything

You can link plates of the same color to create a stack of plates. But if you want to go all technicolor with your dishware, you can try to link seven or more plates—that way, you’ll draw out a glowing plate that links with any color.
