Princess Peach will magically transform to match each of the different plays within the Sparkle Theater to save them against Grape and her wicked Sour Bunch in the Princess Peach: Showtime! game, available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. You can use these helpful tips and tricks to put on your own play inspired by the game!

Setting the stage!

Just about any spot can serve as a stage for your play—living room, driveway, porch, the park—as long as there’s enough room for you to swing your arms without bumping into someone. If you plan on performing in front of anyone, make sure there’s room for an audience.

Writing the script!

You can make up your lines as you go, or you can write a script for your play. Each of Peach’s transformations includes a special phrase. Here are just a few to help inspired you:

  • “En garde!” (Swordfighter Peach)
  • “Howdy there!” (Cowgirl Peach)
  • “On the case!” (Detective Peach)
  • “Hero time!” (Mighty Peach)
  • “Ready for action!” (Kung Fu Peach)

Playing dress up!

Peach powers up with 10 transformations in the game, each with their own showstopping abilities. You could use a jump rope as a lasso for a Cowgirl Peach costume, an apron for a Patissiere Peach costume, or a magnifying glass for a Detective Peach costume.

Practice makes perfect!

“Rehearsal” is the time spent practicing your lines, actions, and other cues in a play. If your play has a big cast, you can schedule time to rehearse individual scenes or the entire play. Once you feel like you’re ready, you can send out invitations for your first performance.

Curtain’s up!

On opening night (or day), you can gather your costumes and props and head over to your designated stage. You can perform your play for family, friends, or if you’re a little shy, you can even act out a play for your pet. Bravo!
