Yoshi’s Actions

Before we dive in, let’s take a look at the different actions Yoshi can make. You can extend Yoshi’s tongue to gobble things up, aim and throw eggs, Flutter Jump to hover in the air for a bit, and Ground Pound to slam straight down. You can also do a Tail Flick, which is Yoshi’s latest action. Now let’s see how you can use these moves!

Amazing Discoveries

Within the pages of Mr. E’s book, you can explore colorful habitats. You can hop into a creature’s habitat and interact with it to learn its characteristics and abilities. You can smash it, give it a taste, or use the Tail Flick move to get the creature on your back. As you experiment with creatures, all kinds of surprising facts will appear across every page.

Quirky Creatures

After you’ve wrapped up exploring a chapter, you can give a name to the creature you discovered. You can come up with your own or ask Mr. E for a suggestion. You’ll find many creatures on your expeditions: one that sings musical notes, a bee-like creature than chases you in a swarm, and a fluffy one that keeps multiplying!

Unlocking Chapters

Chapters will unlock as you visit different habitats. As you progress through the game, more chapters will unlock, expanding your research to include mountaintops, seaside, valleys, and more. Enjoy researching areas and finding all sorts of discoveries!

Surprise Guests

Is that Bowser Jr. and Kamek?! It looks like this troublesome pair is searching for something within Mr. E, stirring up mischief wherever they appear. What in the world could they be up to?
