Assemble a treasure-hunting crew

In the game, you play as a mechanic working with Deep Cut, a trio of swashbuckling musicians. Shiver is cool and calculated; Frye is a feisty eel charmer; and Big Man is the loveable heart of the group. Together you can raid the Spirhalite Islands for loot! In real life, you can team up with your bestie or a group of friends to hunt for treasure (or adventure) around your neighborhood.

Get your gear in order

In the game, you can kit yourself out with mechanical gadgets and ink-splatting weapons. Whether you’re upgrading gear or leveling up weapons like Sand Slosher or Diner Dualies, every little bit helps when you take on waves of enemy Salmonids! In real life, you can gear up for summer fun with equipment like a sturdy bicycle, a good pair of sneakers, a book from the library, or your Nintendo Switch 2 system.

Embark on a quest

In the game, you and your crew take on a pretty big quest: to raid the nearby Spirhalite Islands and see what goodies you can find. You can also fight Salmonids, gather salvage, and uncover the mysteries of the islands. In real life, you can raid the fridge for snacks, explore your neighborhood, and embark on your own quest.

Search for treasure

In the game, you can scoop up Spirhalite shards and other salvage that you find out there—you never know what might come in handy! Some stages may also contain rare relics that can power you up. In real life, you and your friends can search for your own treasure with a scavenger hunt. You can come up with a list of items to find or things to do and then start exploring. You might find a treasure chest, or you might just have fun along the way.

Friends help friends

In the game, you can call on up to three other players online* or via local wireless** to help you through a stage, or they can ask you to help them. In real life, you can help out by taking on chores around the house. You can offer to weed your neighbor’s lawn or sweep up your grandma’s kitchen floor. Whatever you do this summer, you can be open to new experiences and trying new things!
